Maths for learning, life and work

The maths for learning, life and work project is an exciting resource for anyone with an interest in the teaching and learning of maths/numeracy to adults in the East of England.

With funding from the LSC the project aims to:

  • Develop an infrastructure of experienced maths/numeracy teacher trainers able to offer advice, support and training to providers in the East of England.
  • Provide direct support to practitioners to help them improve their own professional practice.
  • Create a network for practitioners to exchange ideas and information around any issue/activity to do with the teaching and learning of math’s and numeracy.
  • Develop links with business in the East of England to help identify the workplace need and demands for maths and numeracy skills.

Does this sound as if it might have something of interest to you? Follow the link to learn more including information on teaching material, events in the region, or to join in a discussion with other practitioners on what constitutes good maths/numeracy teaching and learning practice.
