Numeracy

ACER’s Regional Mathematics Centre works with colleges and training providers in the East of England to deliver high quality numeracy and mathematics programmes. It increases the number of qualified and experienced numeracy practitioners by supporting providers to develop and deliver innovative and engaging numeracy courses that result in increased numbers of learners and qualifications.

Our expertise in developing numeracy practitioners across the region has helped us to design a thorough suite of services to develop the quality of numeracy provision in the East of England, including work through our regional clusters. Each cluster group provides professional development and networking opportunities with experienced leadership and support, building local expertise and capacity.

We offer the following numeracy training and consultancy:

Supporting skills progression in maths with Move On
Developing thinking through maths
Exploring calculation strategies and methods
Mathematics / numeracy and learners with learning difficulties and disabilities
