ACER is pleased to be able to work with colleges and FE providers in helping to enhance their management development programmes. Our suite of management training programmes has been designed as a multi-level, sustainable, rolling programme that can be used as part of your leadership development strategy. Each level feeds into the next and is structured to build on prior learning.

The programmes are constantly reviewed through input from managers, participants and facilitators. They reflect current thinking on leadership styles, but are practical with a focus on ‘how to’ skills for all levels of managers.

We offer an integrated programme for curriculum and business support managers as we believe there are real benefits to this approach, such as

inter-departmental working and sharing of experiences. The dates are flexible and programmes can be integrated into your existing staff development calendars. In addition to this, our programmes are usually delivered on your premises, minimising disruption, travel and room hire expenses.

The outcomes will be linked to your business strategy and tie in to succession planning and talent management agendas. We provide termly reviews of the programme with the management team to ensure that all objectives are achieved.

The programmes build on developing a coaching culture for all managers which positively impacts onto the business environment and helps to encourage staff and teams to develop. Each level of the programme includes homework and project work as an integrated part of the modules to develop team working for managers, as well as providing consultancy on aspects of your strategy.

We recognise the importance of budget management and therefore offer a model where all travel and expenses costs are included in all quotations.
