About Our Projects

ACER is gaining an enviable reputation for winning project bids from bodies such as the regional LSC, EEDA and LLUK. Over the past few years an increased number of member colleges have been involved with ACER’s project work as delivery partners and have benefited from funding for pilot work, in-house and external training, coaching and consultancy.  Project work enables ACER to offer its members strategic and operational support for the management and implementation of new initiatives and strategies and in some cases the opportunity to be instrumental in informing policy and practice.  Consultancy work with national projects keeps ACER staff and members involved in current issues and prepared for future change and development. 

ACER aims to undertake and disseminate research that will improve college provision and inform strategic planning. We also provide support to members in writing bids for funding and in developing collaborative projects and partnerships.
